With Sobrado Smart, we are launching a digital competence management tool in cooperation with Mendo and Get More Brain. It supports professionals in brokerage and insurance companies in managing knowledge for their day-to-day work, while also preparing them optimally for the new VBV recertification exams.

Insurance products and legislation are becoming increasingly complex. Higher competence requirements and ongoing regulatory adjustments present brokers and insurers with significant challenges. Knowledge that has already been acquired becomes outdated quickly, making it essential for professionals to continuously update and refine their practical expertise. In addition, the new VBV accreditation and recertification exams introduce mandatory training obligations: starting in 2026, all insurance intermediaries in Switzerland must pass these exams every two years.

In this environment, efficient knowledge management is crucial. Sobrado Smart provides a comprehensive digital solution—supporting effective client consulting and professional business management. The product is the result of a collaboration between Sobrado, Mendo, and Get More Brain.

Sobrado Smart offers users multimedia learning content aligned both with VBV qualification profiles for insurance intermediaries and with practical advisory needs. It covers all essential competencies required for the accreditation and recertification exams across the profiles: multi-line, life, non-life, and supplemental health insurance. Additional learning content is also available on topics such as occupational pensions, real estate financing, and capital investments.

Users can access learning texts, explainer videos, flashcards, and podcasts. The offering is available in German, French, and Italian. Users can form study groups, exchange content and messages with each other, and—thanks to AI—interact directly with the learning materials.

Thanks to the mobile-first design, you can access all content anytime and anywhere via your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. This enables flexible integration of learning sessions into the workday. Sobrado Smart can also be used as a quick reference tool, for example before meeting with a client.
