06.05.2025 Management change: Philip Klossner becomes new CEO

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Klossner as the new Chief Executive Officer. He already started on March 1, 2025 and officially took over the position on May 1, 2025.

Philip has extensive experience in the insurance industry. Before joining Sobrado, he was based in Berlin. There, as Vice President at Hypoport InsurTech AG, a subsidiary of the listed Hypoport SE, he was jointly responsible for the strategic direction and development of the insurance platforms. He was then responsible for the successful implementation of the strategy in the private and commercial client segment.

Philip worked for wefox from 2015 to 2020, initially as one of the first ten employees in Switzerland and later in Berlin. As Chief Operating Officer, he was co-initiator of wefox’s fully licensed digital insurer in Germany and Switzerland.

His experience, both in the environment of fast-growing start-ups and large listed companies, makes him the ideal person for the further development of Sobrado.

Philip replaces our long-standing CEO Christian Röthlin as of May 1. We would like to thank Christian for his valuable contribution to the development of Sobrado. Under his leadership, the company has successfully established itself in the Swiss insurance market. We wish them both continued success for the future.
